Help the No Room for Contraception Campaign!

As the controversy over 'emergency' contraception heats up, so will this campaign!  There is a big push to have EC available over the counter despite the many hazards it poses to women's health. 

Drug companies and organizations that benefit from sales of contraception are putting the heat on pharmacies, pharmacists, religious hospitals, and chain stores across the nation. 

Help us get the word out on the negative effects of 'emergency' contraception, and contraception in general.

This campaign needs help to educate the public on the effects birth control has on marriage, society, and women's health.  The organizations advocating for contraception are well financed, as are the drug companies who sell it.  We are up against an untold amount of money, power, and people, and we need your help to fight back.

While this campaign isn't about money, the reality is that the goods and services the campaign requires aren't free. 

Here are some of the expenses and items we need help with:

• Press Releases  It costs $65 to send a single press release to thousands of media and family news outlets (and this is bargain!).  We will send dozens of press releases in the next few weeks alone.  Can you sponsor one, two, or ten press releases?
   
• Computers  We need two new computers (Windows based).   Can you sponsor or send us a new or lightly used computer?
   
• The Website  The website costs $30 a month to maintain.  Can you commit to sending $30 a month?
   
• Office Space  We need office space in Washington DC.  A guesstimate is that it will cost the campaign $1,000 a month for space in the Capitol.  Do you have space in your (DC) office we can use rent free for a few months?
   
• Salary We need to pay our Executive Director a modest salary.  We are looking for several people who can commit to giving $1,000 a year to cover this expense. 
   
• Fax services  Our fax service costs $12.95 per month.  Can you make a pledge to cover this expense monthly.  Can you help pay a single month?

Covering our expenses are not the only needs of the campaign. We also need your involvement in the following areas:

• Tips.  Send us contraception related news, legislation, and class action lawsuits in your area to info@nrfc.net
   
• Testimonies.  Do you have a testimony about using contraception?  Has someone you loved been hurt or killed by chemical contraception?  Send us a testimony, and we will put it on our website, while protecting your identity.
   
• Education.  Help get the word out on the dangers of contraception -- one easy way is to tell them about this website.
   
• Connections.  Is your friend in the Media, State Legislature, Health Department, FDA, Congress, or the Clergy?   Help the campaign to reach  people in these critical positions.
   
• Graphic Design.  Are you gifted in the graphic arts?  The website needs some imagery to improve it's look and feel.
   
• Desktop Publishing.  We need help producing brochures, booklets, and advertisements.
